Amchok Gonpo Dhondup
	Genre: Contemporary Artist's WebSite Biography:: Amchok Gompo Dhundup was born into a nomadic family in a small village called Amchok in the Amdo region of Tibet. As a nomadic child he spend his days tending animals like yak, sheep, goats and horses.

Jamyang Choenden

Jamyang Chondhen or JACK as he is more popularly known as has been the backbone and lead singer for most of the Aa Ka Ma albums. Born and brought up in Dharmasala, India, he is also a professional musician and is trained in Tibetan opera. He plays mostly traditional Tibetan music but also plays some contemporary music too. He is currently residing in Toronto, Canada.

Jamyang Yeshi
	Genre: Contemporary Jamyang Yeshi was born in a nomadic family near lake Kokonor in Amdo in 1976. From the early childhood he has been hearing the songs of his people. He inherited a good voice from his father, who is a good singer, he decided to be a singer.

Jongshon Dolma
	Genre: Contemporary Jongshon Dolma is from Tibet. She is one of the youngest Tibetan singers in Tibet and is her songs are popular inside and outside Tibet. She is popularly known for her hit song "Achala Pema Yangchen".

Kharag Penpa Tsering

Penpa Tsering was born in Jangthang Chumur, Ladakh in 1978. He did his schooling from TCV Ladakh till class 10. His interest in dance and music drew him to get admission in Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, Dharamsala. Accordingly, he was in the institute for three years from 1996. He joined the institute to do diploma in instructor course in traditional Tibetan dance and music and Opera.

Nelung Tsering Topten

Nelung Tsering Topten began studying music, dancing, and singing at the Tibetan Institute of the Performing Arts (TIPA) in Dharamsala, India, at the age of 10. Currently living in Switzerland, Tsering Topten Nelung is a long-time member and teacher in the Swiss-TIPA, and also in the Tibetan music group Nangma.

He is a teacher of Tibetan folklore and instruments in various Tibetan schools in Switzerland. Tsering Topten also provides musical support to many Tibetan organizations and events across Europe, and is the producer and featured artist on numerous CDs and tapes, as well as a composer of songs and soundtracks in both traditional and modern styles.

Pasang Dolma
	Genre: Traditional Pasang Dolma has the voice of a Nightingale and is a graduate of TIPA. She has travelled worldwide and sings Traditional Tibetan Songs and Hindi Songs.

Penpa Tsering
	Genre: Contemporary Penpa Tsering lives in Mussoorie and is well known for his song "Bhumo Gyakpa" in his debut album. He has performed at the Music Festival in Bylakuppe and has also released a Video CD. His latest album Aunty No. 1 has also been received very well by the Tibetan listners. And he believes that Tibetan music will be accepted by more people if it absorbs more elements of the country's mainstream music.
